Allison Walker
Jubilee College is especially pleased to have the highly regarded Reflexologist, Allison Walker, teaching their Diploma courses at Manchester and Birmingham.
Allison also teaches Auricular Reflexology at CPD classes at most of the Jubilee College venues.
Allison was personally tutored and assessed by Dwight Byers in the Original Ingham Method of Reflexology, and before she joined Jubilee College, she became Course Director for the International Institute of Reflexologists in the East Midlands area.
Allison has also continually updated her training with A.R.T techniques (Advanced Reflexology with Anthony Porter), V.R.T (Vertical Reflexology with Lynne Booth) and Meridian and Five Element Reflexology to Advanced Level. Following study over a year in the UK and Athens, Allison also has a Diploma in Nerve Reflexology from Nico Pauly of Belgium.
Allison is also a tutor for the Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association. This led Allison to develop an interest in the effects of working on the ears. Following years of study on different courses in Auricular Therapy and Auricular Reflexology she has now developed her own unique style of working on the ears.
Working effectively on the ears is extremely effective and it brings another dimension to a standard reflexology treatment. It is very powerful as a stand alone therapy and great for client homework to re-enforce a foot or hand treatment. My aim is for reflexologists to have a broader range of tools in their tool kit to enable the most effective form of treatment for each client.
Auricular Reflexology is an essential tool for today’s professional reflexologist to set them apart from those who simply offer a generic treatment. The more tailor made the treatment, the quicker the results and the more client referrals a practitioner will receive.
Allison says "I love teaching and aim to make courses enjoyable, interactive and easy to understand".
