Hopi Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Training)
The ancient art of Ear Candling is now a safe, effective treatment for many conditions of the olfactory and sense systems.

It is the ultimate relaxation therapy and people of all ages benefit in many ways. For Reflexologists it provides another tool to help with clients' ear, nose and throat imbalances and is a valuable aid to stress relief. It gives the Reflexologist the chance to rest their hands and support the client in another holistic way.
This one-day course covers everything that you need to know to feel confident and knowledgeable about how, when and to whom you can offer Thermo-Auricular Therapy. The candles used are all quality assured and have the EC kite mark of safety.
This is a relaxing days training and everything that you learn will be put into practice with three case studies. These are a brief synopsis of who you have worked on for what, how the client responded and what you have learnt from the experience. Also required for your certificate is a short reflective piece of work so that you are fully aware of how you are going to incorporate this new modality into your clinical practice.
The day consists of a morning on the theory of Thermo-Auricular Therapy and an afternoon of practical experience. In addition to the comprehensive syllabus, Allison will demonstrate a sinus drainage massage and a brief introduction to Auricular Reflexology that may be incorporated into your treatment. This you can practice in the afternoon with a full treatment and will set your sessions apart from other therapists offering ear candling.
The course is fully accredited through the Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association, the first organisation to teach ear candling in the UK and have their syllabus approved for insurance purposes. The Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association has a practitioner website and offers Advanced Ottoscope Training for their graduates. The manual you are given on the course is incredibly in depth, but there is always someone available to help the newly qualified practitioner. The practitioner who qualifies through the Thermo-Auricular Therapy Association is eligible to put the letters TATh following their name to signify their professional status and can wear their badge with pride.
